Oils on canvas, 36x24. One of my favorite obsessions is the Titanic. I just love the idea of such luxury. This is one of the few paintings I made for myself. Framed and hanging in my home.

This painting is a study! I wanted to practice with small architectural detail and rigging. It was reproduced free hand. The original artist is Ken Marschall. Famous for his paintings of Titanic.

First attempt to upload a larger image failed. As well as the 2nd and 3rd. I finally figured it out and now it is a full size image.

I did this due to the very large amount of people that have chosen this picture as a favorite.....and I thank all for the compliments.

(I just spell checked this....I can't spell......so I paint)

No this is not an original work. It is a study. Not for sale, but for my own personal use. Here is DA policy on such work.

"While we would agree that the simply copying what has been done before is not particularly original we have chosen to allow recreations providing that the reproduction has been created completely through the efforts of the artist in question, does not directly contain any portions of the reference work, and does not show any evidence of being directly traced, re-colored, or 'painted-over' and providing that it does not reproduce the original in exacting detail."
